This is the second Working With Brecht/Baustelle Brecht event after a successful first iteration last summer. The idea behind Working With Brecht/Baustelle Brecht is to assemble an interesting group of younger scholars who are working in areas in and around Brecht and his successors, and to put together a one-day symposium demonstrating the depth and breadth of contemporary research in this area, particularly among younger, up-and-coming scholars. Last year the first half of the day was in English, and the second half of the day was in German, and we expect to follow a similar format this year.
